Filings we support
- Alt-2 filings for apartment alterations — wall removals, openings, flex walls.
- Alt-CO and Alt-1 filings where structural work is part of a larger architectural scope.
- DOB Now: Build submissions in coordination with your architect and expediter.
What we do, and what we don't
- We provide the structural scope: drawings, calculations and engineering letters.
- We do not act as architect of record. We do not file directly — we work alongside a DOB-licensed expediter, who we can recommend if you don't already have one.
Flex walls
- Flex wall installations frequently require a structural review for floor capacity, anchorage and life-safety. We produce the supporting documentation for a typical co-op or rental board package.
Our standard site visits are visual in nature and limited to readily accessible and visible conditions at the time of review. Concealed conditions, covered framing, underground elements, and inaccessible areas are excluded unless specifically included in the scope. Written reports, letters, calculations, and signed/sealed drawings are separate services unless expressly stated in the proposal.
